www1.gov.mu

The web site for the Supreme Court of Mauritius is at http://www1.gov.mu/scourt.

Ajay Ramjatan noticed that the web site could no longer be accessed because of a DNS (domain name system) issue.

DNS for www1.gov.mu

According to one of the name servers (anycast1.irondns.net and udns1.tld.mu) for the .mu ccTLD the name servers for www1.gov.mu are dns1.intnet.mu and dns2.intnet.mu:

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;www1.gov.mu. IN A

;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
www1.gov.mu. 86400 IN NS dns2.intnet.mu.
www1.gov.mu. 86400 IN NS dns1.intnet.mu.

The other .mu ccTLD name servers list the name servers as ns0.gov.mu, ns1.gov.mu, ns2.gov.mu and ns3.gov.mu:

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;www1.gov.mu. IN A

;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
gov.mu. 43200 IN NS ns3.gov.mu.
gov.mu. 43200 IN NS ns0.gov.mu.
gov.mu. 43200 IN NS ns2.gov.mu.
gov.mu. 43200 IN NS ns1.gov.mu.

Those name servers do not have any (DNS) record for the www1.gov.mu domain name.

Impact

The web site of the Supreme Court of Mauritius is only accessible for people using orange.mu DNS servers. The web site does not work reliably from outside Mauritius.
